Vanessa has been instrumental in the founding and growth of Another. She has over a decade of industry experience learning from master stylists in the SoCal region. Vanessa’s vision to build Another has always been about the people. At her core, her passion to love and serve others is what truly inspires and propels her forward. Her desire for personal growth allows her to constantly realign herself with the relationships around her. Vanessa lives in Solana Beach with her two French bulldogs, Duke and Remy. If you ever need to spot her in the wild, she’s the stylish one with red nail polish.

Shawn Knudsen

Shawn has been in the salon industry for 15 years and has hundreds and hundreds of blowouts under her belt. She not only specializes in them but also styling, wedding hair as well as tape extensions. Shawn trained at Paul Mitchell San Diego and furthered her blowout and styling skills working for Drybar and assisting in Beverly Hills. She truly believes a good blowout and style can make anyone feel like their best self. While having an eye for the latest trends and good style, she’s ready to make your hair your best accessory.

When she’s not behind the chair or running around doing house call clients, you can find her at barre class, traveling, shopping, watching Bravo, spending time with family and friends, going out to dinners or petting any dog she sees.

CAITIE ONIEL

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia Caitie has been in the industry professionally for over 15 years, but really she grew up in a salon (her mother is an accomplished hairstylist). With a background in Fine Arts, the creative opportunities within the industry led her to becoming both the creative director and stylist at her salon in Atlanta. She has trained under some of the industry’s most respected leaders from around the world, seeking a non-traditional approach to her education. Storytelling is at the core of all that she does, connecting to her clients behind the chair as well as coordinating and connecting with Another’s clients digitally. Outside of Another, you can find Caitie doing something creative and spending time with her husband and French Bulldog, Legend..

NICOLE GRAVES

Nicole is an established cut and colorist with over 20 yrs of experience. As an accomplished cut and colorist for Frederic Fekkai Salon in New York City, Nicole has worked with some of the most respected and talented stylists in New York City and around the world, including the honor of styling for celebrity clients, working fashion week, and having work featured in various magazines. Since relocating to CA her days are also filled being a mom to her lovely kids, Arden and Shea.

PAIGE GINGRICH

Paige is a Southern California born and raised Stylist who has been in the Industry for 12 years. She was trained in the European style which involves fundamental principles of primary shapes and reference points on the head, creating looks that are balanced and fluid. She believes that your hair cut should suit your life, not the other way around. Using natural textures and volume of each individual person in order to create a hair cut that is specific to you.
